Having grown up closely with the emerging Bristol sound systems of the 1980s I bought my first Technics SL1200 in 1988. The collection of vinyl took off following my second deck purchase and small Gemini mixer in 1989. With white labels coming from a broad mix of club promotions companies and savings going to the record shop - the love of DJ culture was in the blood. Creating mixes from soulful and progressive house music, hip hop, rnb, funk and disco within DJ appearances as solo DJ and part of a collective provided great fun!
